I have not been in here much for a while so I had missed this sad post. I will miss seeing Snoredogs messages. I lost my father 11 years ago of a sudden heart attack as well so I know the shock and sadden it brings to the family. Know he will be missed an was loved in this group. Melinda,Rejoice56

Father, friend, mentor, teacher, artisan, as each of these he will be missed. Please accept my sympathies to all those who knew him better than I, and ignore my envy that I did not know him as well as you. I am glad that our paths crossed.

I am a wife helping my husband adjust to his apnea treatment. I will never forget those early days when Snoredog educated me quickly and to the point, no matter what question I asked, and I asked a lot. I hope he got to read a recent post of mine where I compared him to my late father-in-law who could sometimes be impatient and blunt, but I knew he loved me and always told me the truth to lead me in the right direction. I truly am sorry for your loss. Dori

Cristen, Ali and family, our sincere sympathy on the loss of Snoredog.
Although new to this 'family' have been very grateful for the advice and shared wisdom from Snoredog.
He will be extra pleased to now that his passing was not in vain. Since our last disastrous visit to the sleep doc B has been very reluctant to use his machine and mask , even getting to the point of 2 hour usuage or no usage. When I told him of Snoredogs passing from a heart attack it raised the issue of OSA being a no joke affair and he increased his usage last night and didn't complain or look for excuses like he has been the last couple of weeks.
So, thank you Snoredog ...... you are still helping. xxx

I'm so sorry to hear this. His sense of humor will be missed greatly.

Like others, I am stunned and deeply saddened by the news of John's passing. He was such a wonderful help in answering my questions and those of others - from the newest person as well as the complex issues of more experienced cpappers. His knowledge was helpful to so many of us. His words and wisdom will live on in this forum as a continuing resource as time goes by.

My condolences to you. I will miss his posts he gave much good advice to everyone. He will be missed greatly by this forum. May he rest in peace.

Oh, man, I can't believe it. Cristen and Ali, I'm so sorry for your loss. To lose your Dad so young is just plain cruel. He would speak often of his health journeys, always with the goal of helping others find their way. He was so proud of you two. It was very nice of you to find your way to this forum and let us know about his passing. I used to joke with him a lot, as well as discuss the ins and outs of CPAP data. I would always marvel at the extraordinary amount of time he would spend helping everyone.

I will miss him tremendously.
