I would like to believe we are all here to learn what we can (yes even you). As a return favor (pretty please) do drop the constant refs to the 3-stooges such as presently in Banned's thread. That kind of 'payback' surely has to end sometime - 6+ months of it is wearing thin.

Why don't you wait and figure out exactly what this boy has before you start selling him another machine? This could just as easily be a case where Browser and Harpo need to exchange machines. Think about the other guy around here with a VB% that high.

Or a sleep maintenance issue. You can only blame so much on "lab effect" in explaining the poor sleep efficiency, and that last part of the Encore download could be Wake (or for that matter, position change). But if that VB% is due to Wake/Sleep transition, that would be one rotten night, and further, a lot of stuff needs to be rethought (rethunk?) before an approach like ASV enters the picture.

I take 20mg of Lexapro in the morning and 300 of Lebatelol for BP morning and night. I slept entirely on my right side for the diagnostic portion of PSG and Entirely on my back for the CPAP portion and the lab really was that bad. I had to argue about what mask to use,argue about the fan freezing my rear off and that I wanted it off,argue that I couldn't breathe at a pressure of 7cm and I almost walked out and should have. I have had several PSG and this was the worst and was in the Dr's office in an area converted to a lab.

I don't know why but I fell asleep watching a show last night and didn't strap on the mask and I am paying for it. If I don't mask up I wake up with that thing in the back of my mouth swollen to double and laying on the back of my tongue like a goober and sore and red also my eye hurts and I feel like crud. So now I got a reminder what it is like without Cpap and it is much better with it!

I am making an appointment to see my original sleep specialist from many years ago who did all my previous studies. She is well respected in the area. She also does the studies in a hospital and it is much more professional. Besides I have paid for great coverage this year 95% with 5% copay so maybe I can use it before it expires because next year it is 80/20 with big deductible because the cost of this years 95/5 almost doubled to over $250 every 2 weeks. I may not even have a job very soon due to the downturn and loss of business. I may be layed off very,very soon.

So for SAG it was 55% VB during the posted night and as I stated that sudden drop in pressure in the morning was because I awakened when everyone else was getting up and turned the machine off and back on to drop the pressure so I could fall back asleep - I could have just hit the ramp. I slept entirely on my right side during the diagnostic portion of PSG and entirely on my back during titration. The thing in the back of my mouth/throat Uvuula? is huge and red and laying on my tongue today cause I fell asleep last night without the hose so tonights report will probably be a mess.

SAG - who is the three stooges and who is Harpo. You said Harpo has a high VB% so I would like to search for their posts. Oh yea, I scored 18 on that HSP test.

The obvious conclusion from your chart is that VS is pushing your pressure up & that as has been pretty well explained by others, possibly the mask or possibly neck shape & condition.

Am confident the comedy act will now fall away to all parties focusing on your data & what help we can provide

Weight 250 (was 235 at PSG)

General build - Have been called "Big Guy" not because of weight.... Medium build, very skinny my entire life - too skinny - problem started as I gained weight and got worse with more weight. I think the last 15 pounds really made it bad because if I don't use the machine the thing that hangs in the back of my throat swells up and turns red due to the snoring.

I think I need another and a better PSG because it has gotten much worse since last PSG. The last PSG was only for 1.8 hours on CPAP,not enough time for changes in sleep stages if you ask me.
