I sleep naked every night. I don't wake up and re-robe, however. I do sometimes have to adjust the heater or the fan, or the blankies, or get up to pee or drink or stretch, or watch TAPS or....
Everytime I yank something off in my sleep - mask, blankies, mouth tape, etc - I wake up and remember doing it. I guess this means no one is going to volunteer to come watch me sleep nekkid?
LOL,
B.

Let me explain, no there is too much, let me sum up. - Inigo Montoya
The robe, which apparently did not have a full zipper, cannot have been taken off over your head, otherwise the record would have shown the break. So it had to come off past your feet. But how then did it get rezipped???
Do you live anywhere near David Blaine?
But there are some other mysteries that haven't even been mentioned.
The brown robe seems to have removed itself. I think we need to try some other colors. What about the same style robe in yellow?
The other, and possibly greatest, mystery though is this. How does someone living in Sacremento, CA come up with the term starkers? It wouldn't have been any more out of character for you to say "butt nekkid".
That reminds me, I learned something interesting from living in Tennessee.
Do you know the difference between naked and nekkid? Naked means no clothes on. Nekkid means no clothes on and up to something.
Hope this helps.

and you guys thought Bev's thread was going to turn into TMOAT's, my money is on this one!!
SWS: I also like your scientific approach to this, I think we need several baseline subjects and take an average from those.

What's TMOAT's?
Too Many Offtopic Attempts at ..... Titillation? Torture? Tapdancing?

Ha, I learned it as nude = absence of clothing; naked = nude with attitude!
Highly Patterned Nakkedity

More ideas for our proposed methodology. Several scientific collaborators in this thread have suggested the importance of using a larger study size.
In that same vein I recall seeing pictures and old television shows where chorus dancers and swimmers would form those really neat kaleidoscope patterns. I'm thinking it would help immensely if we could get enough volunteers to have a "kaleidoscope slumber party" as part of our sleep science experiments.
Thank you for listening!
(just kidding, of course!)

I do like yellow...
British culture/grammar/television/media/literature/everything is my hobby. Sometimes I forget to write American, thus the starkers.
Butt nekkid would probably be MORE in character, my grandma's an Okie.
I'm sort of amazed that this thread has taken off so much. And I really needed the laugh today, I didn't get to bed until 1 last night and the alarm goes off at 5. Course, I slept through it and woke up 5 minutes before I had to leave for work.
No mysterious nudity when I awoke today!

We need a good cross section of women for the experiment to work, your on the list

Babette, I knew we could count on you for the experiments!

TMOAT="The Mother Of All Threads"
That was an acronym invented by SAG, initially to describe an incredibly long thread about CSDB. That acronym has been applied to other extremely long threads as well.

Well, let's try a little harder tonight if you don't mind.

<clearing throat> Ahem. In the interests of true science, there should be observation of male subjects as well as female subjects. We ladies* enjoy doing observations, too, you know.
*Do you know the difference between a wench and a lady? The lady is a wench with a knife... and she knows how to use it!

I suppose that we should, in the name of science I mean

I gots me a knife... And a vast selection of corsets to wear it with!
I agree with the male observations being needed. I think some of you men need to video tape yourselves and post it on You Tube.
Or YouP*rn.

NO, NO, NO, its all in the name of science, we swear (nothing pornographic about it at all)
but can we keep the negatives??
Isnt it unethical to experiment on yourself, thats why the ladies need our observatory skills
AND whats good for the goose is good for the gander
So i will go starkers also
