er, no, your link points to the "Acc U Rate® OLED Wrist Color Pulse Oximeter with Continuous Reading"
not the
CMS50F also
available cheaper from china though I bought the
slightly nicer cms50i, it has a clock to timestamp your recordings, and can save multiple recordings between downloads.
??? It says "CMS 50F OLED Wrist Color Pulse Oximeter with Acc U Rate® probe" but it does seem more expensive to the one you found. Any idea if the Acc U Rate probe makes any difference?

ok, my bad, brain fart or something
yeah, that's the same one, it looks like this "acc u rate" company buys the cms stuff from contec and slaps their lablel on, while marking up the price.

I just purchased a CMS50F and am having a problem with it. I get it to record, but when I import the file to the software the file is always 2k in size and a few seconds of data. Anyone had this problem and can help me?

I think the blue face f is much the same as the i. mine uses spo2assistant v2.4
it creates a .spo2 file. where the actual file is depends on what version of windows (the OS) you're using.
if you can get a copy of the current testing version of sleepyhead out of jedimark, it reads the blue f directly, no other programs needed.

first, make sure you're using the "usb" cable that came with it.
it's actually not a usb cable, it just looks like one, it's actually a usb to serial interface cable disguised as a plain cable, a regular usb to mini cable will ont work with the 50d+ or 50e. .
second, to talk to either the software, or sleepyhead, the device has to be in the menu mode, not in the normal display mode. ie, hold down the button till it changes to the menu.

I am using supplied cable..
Sleepyhead now sees the device,
CMS software still says no devices available...

use the sw that came with it, I don't know that the 2.4.1 works with the older protocol devices like the 50d+

I didn't use my pulse ox enough to have any clue how to help you.
You may need a different version of the CMS software...there were 2 I think for the 50 D Plus...and only one works.
Pulseoxstore has them for free download. That's where I got mine

You are correct,
had to use the older software...
That seems to have made everything work, it even works in SleepyHead now..
Happy Apneahead here...
Realize I may have enjoyed a slightly better Pulse Ox, but this will do for now...
Thanks for the hint....

glad to help! the newest version of SH integrates the oximeter graphs with the other graphs, it's nice, all stuff on one chart, and if you start the oximeter at the same time as the cpap, you get charts that line up nicely. good stuff.
