The best UPS I ever bought is this one: CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS 1500VA 900W PFC Compatible Mini-Tower - https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-CP150 ... B00429N19W Amazon buyers rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars based on 2,300 reviews.

Been using it for six years now and it still works perfectly on the original battery. The alarm is easily switched off or on via the front panel. They sell some models of CyberPower UPS at Costco, btw.

Shipping cost on UPS units can be more than ;you expected because of the battery weight.

I'm sure this is a fine UPS. But the battery inside is 8.5 Amp-hours, enough to run for one night, without humidity. If humidity is on, it will only go for a few hours, depending on settings and conditions. Also it doesn't appear to have a DC out, so its always on inverter, which limits the usable power to around 4 amp-hours.

If the need is to cover short outages, this will be fine, albeit pricey. The same style battery, but 3 times larger, plus a quality charger and cables* can be had for about $110.

* you also need the appropriate DC cable/converter for the pump, $25-85.
