If we disallowed unestablished members from being able to introduce innovative products here, then we would not have Bret and PurSleep. And that worked out extremely well as far as very many users here are concerned.

Pick a policy and stick with it. But I believe when Johnnie decided to allow PurSleep here that he set a precedent. I'm personally glad PurSleep is here. I hope to see other great products come in the front door of this trend setting forum that same way. But we have to expect that only a percentage will work out as well as PurSleep. Of course, Karen was here for a while before she thought of her excellent products.

Let the products sink or swim on their own merit.

Use of CPAPtalk.com

While using CPAPtalk.com, you will not:
post any material, or links to any material that is (at our sole discretion) knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violates any law;
Luckily we don't have to impose the rules here often, but it is my opinion this guy is violating the next to the last rule above and impersonating a slime ball.

Let's see.... "defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing,"... Yup that about covers the treatment given several newbies by a few of the most esteemed "approved" members. Perhaps it is a good thing that Johnny allows most of these threads to run their course. Something to think about.

When the Strapparatus arrived, the package was full of insects. One of them bit me and my arm became infected. I wore the headgear for one night and my hair fell out wherever the straps made contact.

When I brought the whole mess down to the Post Office to return for a refund, the anthrax alarm went off and they arrested me. Now I'm sitting here in jail.

Well, being an accounting guy I can tell you management & shareholders get very concerned when there is no profit.

Anybody seen the film "FireProof"?
The critics mostly non-Christians slammed this movie because it had a spiritual approach.
The bible tells us to love our enemies as well as our friends. Difficult to do? You betcha!
Addiction is not an easy habit to break, whether it be gambling, pornography, meanness,
or other attributes that society seems to laud through televised "World Poker Tournament",
"Playboy Channel", or the Devil-made-me-do-it national news.
I'm not a televangelist asking you for a monetary gift to support a ministry. I'm sure Mr. Johnny Goodman,
pays a healthy fee to list his cpap.com and cpaptalk.com forum on a monthly basis to the webhost.
The website <Link Removed Per Admin> is available for you to assess, and you can review the information and if you
disagree then by all means write a letter or file a complaint to the AARC or the FDA or to Mr. Goodman.
Perhaps some of us require a spiritual change ...probably a lot of folks have not seen this film nor will
since its non-hollywood and speaks of the son of god, and has scenes of the

As a faithful Christian, let me be the first to say I find the use of religion in this manner to be very distasteful and contrary to the teachings of Jesus.

SWS - some excellent points. What I find objectionable is not so much peddling a product as the attitude that Strapp brings along with it. He seems to think that if we don't all jump at his idea, then we must be closed-minded. If he wants to peddle product, then he needs to learn to be more thick-skinned and especially to take a different tack than he did.

It seems before my time here you annoyed a good number of the folks in this forum. Now I'm starting to get annoyed and agree with Rooster on this... I ask myself why you bring religion into what is essentially a product offering to the xPAP community.

You would do a whole lot better by sticking to the product and explain to me why your headgear will work better for me with my Quattro mask than the standard headgear?... which at the moment I'm not having any issues with.

Unfortunately you can't read his past posts and see why some of us are annoyed with him because he removed them all. He constantly contradicted himself. The people who did try his headgear weren't thrilled with it( I only read one positive remark about it) and got little or no support from him. I'd be suprized if his last post wasn't removed by him soon.

I was going to stay out of this one and just enjoy some of the humor ... but this post changed my mind.

I do recall the previous Strapparatus thread(s) and how they went to hell in a handbasket real quick not unlike this one. The product may have some merit but the marketing/marketer keeps shooting it down all on his own. Don't know much about how "loving our enemies" will sell goods but I do know that being a dumbass hypocrite is not going to sell your wares ... ever heard of "the customer is always right"?
