Hi Dream Diver,

That incident happened before I got treatment for sleep apeona.......It was a dreadful experince, as I would wake up be dead tired whist doing my day to day routine. As before this incident occured, I would stand at the street light waiting for the "green" man to signal me walk and guess what?

I fell asleep leaning against the street pole! Plus I missed the signal and missed the bus as well!!!! arrrrrugh! At home I was half dead with fatuige before the day was thru, never knew I had such a insidous aliment, robs your of your strength and vigour.

I am new to all of this, and apparently did not ask enough questions when given the results of my sleep study. All I really remember is that in 7 hours, I woke stopped breating 289 times. The longest was 58 seconds and the mean was 30 seconds. Before putting me on CPAP my dr want to do septoplasty and other sinus surgery to remove some obstruction - which has been done. I go back for my second study to calibrate CPAP, and am hoping this is all goign to be worthwhile. SUpposedly the surgery has helped the snoring immensely - but I still stop breathing.

I am assuming that I have sever apnea....
