Which is why I buy from https://www.cpap.com.

I did notice that after a trip by air, my machine seemed a bit noisier. I can only surmise it got tired of being jostled and was complaining. I don't notice it now.

Good luck!

Have you given you machine a NAME or do you just let it THINK on its own?

My machine is down near the floor, too.

Last night I was naughty and did some experimenting to try to quiet the whistle. My previous CPAP was set at a pressure of 7.0. On the new APAP, the doc changed my settings to 6-12, and the DME delivered it with 6-13. I've been zeroing out my numbers each night as someone on this board suggested. The 90 percent pressure has been a range from 8-10, so last night I noticed the window showed 6 when I first went to bed. I raised the minimum to 7.5. It really seemed to help with the whistle. I have no clue why. I actually slept all night, a real rarity, and the AHI was a little lower than usual (1.5)

I see the sleep doc in two weeks (if I don't cancel ) and I'm afraid of what he's going to say to me, but people here have given me the courage to tell him that I'm trying to take charge of my therapy because I knew things could be better.
