Wulfman,

Yeah, ok, but I wish you would have made yourself clear by explaining the reason instead of just saying to shut the machine off before removing the mask.

I remove the mask then immediately shut the machine off so the order in which I stop the therapy makes no difference.

It wasn't a stupid dream. It was a dream which might concern apnea events and I think that other sufferers of sleep apnea might recognize and understand the dream.

I love talking about dreams; they can be so fascinating (apnea-related or not).

And even worse than that.....

Yes, I know what you mean about--"worst than that"!

I think the only thing that would make me think if a dream had to do with and apena event is I have found that when I was having centrals at the time I was also dreaming that I could not breath. And then on an imbarrasing note. LOL.....I have dreamed that I had to use the rest room and woke up to having to run to the bathroom pretty quicly.

But odd dreams that we can never make sense of usually just have to do with something we were thinking about previously, even if it was sub-consciencely and we were not aware that we were thinking about it. Could have been a movie you watched, or a stalled car you seen, and then your mind just played on that in your sleep. We also tend to dream about people who we are concerned about.

I always have really bad dreams of one of my kids dying or lossing my husband. And usually I dream about that when I happened to be thinking about it before I feel a sleep.

But no dream is stupid or question is stupid.

I watched a TV movie one time where a child was having trouble with nightmares. The lady she was talking to said, "You must not dream about bunny rabbits. You must constantly think before going to sleep that you cannot dream about bunny rabbits." Of course, that is exactly what she dreamed about. The point being that I think you're right, a lot of what we dream about has to do with things that are on our minds.

Anybody ever watch a scary movie and then have a nightmare?

I also believe dreams can have deeper meanings sometimes, but a lot of time it can be just about what's happened during the day or right before bed.

If no question is stupid, I must have set some new world records. The one that comes to mind was, while having dinner at the Boar's Head Club, I asked my dinner mates, "What does the large "BH" engraved on the chairs stand for?"

LOL.....Thats funny. Sometimes I think the lack of O2 has made me ask questions that I am like oh man why did I ask that, if I would have just thought about it longer.

I was enrolling my daughter in school and could not find the office. I asked someone and they pointed at the sign in front of me saying office this way. LOL....I was sooooooo I was like well I guess if I would have looked around a bit more, I would have seen the sign.....The comedian "Heres your sign" lol

That dream probably means you should put a new battery in your car.

Seriously, I'm new to this and my dreams are getting pretty wild too. Good luck with your treatment.

Something to think about as well. Before treatment, a lot of people do not even dream that much because they don't really enter into REM with being woke up a lot from apeneas. Once on treatment and you are able to get to REM you will have some pretty wild dreams for a while.

I think it stood for butt holder instead of the initials of the restaurant. Depending on the owner's sense of humor of course : )
