Jerry, I think the Smiley Xtra 4 link for Windows is still a FireFox offering. When you look at the file download path near the top of that page you'll see Mozilla listed, exactly as France had mentioned. And Mozilla is FireFox. If you're running FireFox in Windows you might try this link:
Image Firefox Add-on: Smiley Xtra 4 instead. Unfortunately these add-ons are not compatible with Internet Explorer.

France, I use both FireFox and Internet Explorer. They co-exist nicely. But the reason I like using FireFox to compose my posts is that FireFox will automatically underline misspelled words in red---and it will do that on-the-fly, without having to run a spell checker. I just went back and added that second "s" to my previous "misspelled" word that read "mispelled" thanks to that automatic red line sitting under my mistake.

And to further entice you, look who is waiting in the Smiley Xtra 4 character set: Image

And hey, one of those two is rumored to be a Chicago Cubs player! Image

SWS, that helps to know that they co-exist. Thanks. Hubby & I both use the computer but he's really not very comfortable with it so my changing the browser would probably freak him out. I guess I could download firefox and use it myself while letting him continue with IE.

Now I just need to have the time to download it ... We always have so much on the go! But I WANT those smilies!!!!!

ditto - and I like how the features work vs IE. Also, anybody giving MS/IE a run for their money is a good thing in my opinion. Free enterprise vs monopoly and all that. I have heavy duty MS so not anti MS or anything. PocketPC etc.

The only reason someone might not want to run Firefox vs IE is some programs require IE and it's a pain to switch back and forth. I however, endorse and use programs that don't require IE.

One of the Firefox add-ons is the Internet Explorer tab. It allows Firefox to run programs which require IE. (Except for Windows update, of course.) It's really very handy....
