Well being the contrair that I am, I have to go into the "show me my post when I've submitted it" bucket....I don't use preview (I guess I could), so it helps me look at things as they are so I can edit if need be......I can live with it either way, but if I had my druthers, I'd leave it be.....

Great work folks -- appreciate the efforts!!!
cheers

Johnny,
Wow.... nice. I haven't touched on all the features and controls... but it's far above the previous forum layout. Thanks for the continuing effort to unite and serve the growing numbers of PAP'ers.

There's a bug with the avatars feature on the board list. My avatar doesn't show up, instead it is the scrolling thing or another thread it's somebody elses avatar, sometimes it's even somebody's avator who hasn't even posted in that topic. I have noticed this on other posts as will. Some other members noticed it as will and suggested that we report the bug.

I was just playing in my profile and I tried to fill out the information for the product challenges. I got this error message when clicking submit:

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Data too long for column 'State' at row 1 [1406]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

Then I lost all my inputted data.

this might be really petty but I have now done it like five times and its annoying. The spacing of the thread title tends to be directly above the name of the original poster. If I click just a little too low, it clicks on them and goes to their profile. Is there anyway to add a small space or something? If not, I can get used to it.

ah one more thing. In my sig, I have a few lines of text saying what my machine is, mask is, etc. I like having the text in the sig so I can include it in the buttons as pictures. It isn't showing up for some reason.

edit: never mind. I went in and changed the font color and it seems to be working now.

Some threads like this one, always show the topic, but for others the topic is only at the first msg on the first page. How so?

See this page:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33492&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15

I would like to see the topic name on every page, preferably at the top and bottom of that page.

I have some settings on my computer to block backgrounds and font colors, and to use high contrast display options. In doing such, I do not have visible the "edit post", "delete post", and "quote" buttons. This was not a problem on the old forum, and now I know where these buttons are, but it would be nice to have them visible.

Needed editing tags

Once a tag is added, it looks like it cannot be edited?? Is there a way to edit a tag?

Can another tag be added later?

I LIKE TO ADD A BIT OF EUCALYPTUS OIL TO MY HUMIDIFIER IF I FEEL A BIT BLOCKED WHEN BREATHING, ARE THERE ANY HEALTH RISKS IN DOING THIS?

This type of thing has been asked numerous times over the years. The user's manuals plainly state "DISTILLED WATER ONLY". Adding anything else is a potential health hazard IF it could be carried to your respiratory system by the water vapor. If not, it just sits in the humidifier tank and may ruin the tank if heated humidification is used AND will definitely void your warranty.

It's something that I would NOT do and would advise anyone else against doing so.

It's your life and your equipment......your call.
