Rooster, I laughed so hard at your posts that my family thought I was nuts. How could you ever explain to an outsider the things that go on at CPAP Talk?

Jane (who still hasn't had any luck with the pillow systems)

Jane,

If you have figured out what I am saying, send me an explanation in a PM.

Myself, I don't have a clue.

I seem to remember a post some months ago from someone who said that their DME thought that their nose was getting either bigger or the shape was changing. can't remember any details.
Maybe I should try to readjust my cl2 , the way it is now it compresses my nose a bit in order to stop any leaks. Perhaps mug shots are in order so we have some reference point.
I am, of course, quite hurt that none of you want a nice, cute piggy nose, but guess I'll get over it, in time, if I work at it.

I would venture that, when dealing with DMEs, many a person's nostrils have gotten larger as they recoil in shock and anger by the misinformation and manipulation coming from the DME.

I literally laughed out loud at this question

I check my nose-holes every day to see if they have enlarged.

The first nose-hole mask I tried was the Swift II and I was at the DME suppliers store (in the big city) and I put the mask on and he hooked it up to a machine and turned it on at the 12 pressure, with no ramp, no warning, nothing. I felt like I was a hot air balloon about to take off. My daughter was with me and she started going absolutely hysterical with laughter and once she dried the tears and composed herself she said my nose-holes went from normal to HUGE! I've been concerned about the size of my nose-holes ever since.

Yes, my daughter, the poor thing, inherited my sick sense of humor

It helps to look at your nose in the evening, before you go to bed, instead of in the morning, when you've just pulled the mask off.
