lol, i would venture there are a whole lot of folks on here w/ too much time besides me...butt(pun intended) then again i can't think of a better place to spend my time than w/ good friends that are inclined to educate this pilgrim ...i think my slayin days are about expired
Hey, you could always come play dress-up with us on weekends. Only place I know you can swagger about armed to the teeth and people think you're cool, not a terrorist. We mostly just shoot powder (makin' noise is amazingly satisfying), but target shooting is available. Of course, if you don't shoot blackpowder, you're just a lesser being and I rescind the invitation.

Thats not entirely true Babs! We do the same thing as far as the dressing up in pre 1900 clothing and being armed to the teeth (2 handguns, a rifle and a shotgun) when we play Cowboys and Bad Guys (Can't say Indians any more, not PC). about a third do still shoot black powder but we do use real bullets. My avatar is me dressed up for a match! My Name is also my alias that I shoot under (you never give your right name) which is also the badge I carried for 30 years as a law enforcement officer!

Sorry, my bad. Thanks for translating me Gumby!
Deerslayer - you read Muzzleloader much? Mark Baker and his friends rummage all over Manskers and Bledoe's Lick. Mansker's Station is a recreated 18th Century post just north of Nashville. Fun group of folks there. I'm sad they've decided to quit doing their Colonial Faire in May, but some of the guy's (Erin Ehlert, etc.) started it up again over at Blesdoe's Lick and held it this last May. I didn't get an after action report. If anyone was there, tell me all!
Jerry, you get grace because you know how to shoot black powder. I'll absolve you of being a lesser being for all your other stellar qualities. (Insert smoochy icon)
As for being half-blind, join MY club! Now you know why I mostly just blow powder out of the flinchrock!! No sense wasting lead since it's just going to go wild and may hurt some innocent bystander!!!
Though I must admit the "new" rifle (aka "Uncle Arthur") shoots better than I do. I was quite impressed with the last little group I got with it.
LOL,
Babs

That's why I posted it.
I call it "OOPS!" It's really NOT that, it's just the top part of the, er, you know.
But it gives me a giggle.
Boobs slide down when you're wearing a corset. You have to reach down inside, haul them back up and set them back into place. We call it "Fluffing".
Clearly I "over fluffed".

How to tell You are Sleep Deprived:
1) You know Bert's a knapper because he's posted that and you've checked out his website, and PMed with him about it - mutual history lover thing.
2) You don't notice Bert's Avatar IS A GUY KNAPPING until this AM when he points it out.
OY VAY!
