I suck down an entire tank of distilled water using my heated humidifier. .........
Is opening your mouth still an issue with a full face mask???? I use a Resmed Mirage Ultra Full face mask.

I would suggest that you make lists of things that need done at work and just go down the list. That might make the work day easier for you if you are opposed to med use. Mental notes can get lost if you get my drift.
Good luck with that all!

Pardon me if I am stating the obvious.
The ResMed Ultra Mirage FF mask has a lot more pass-through, or normal, designed leak rate, than most masks, I believe. (That is why when you use that mask you usually have to turn off the leak alarm.) The leak rate for the UM FF at 12 cm is 40 L/m. Respironics masks, and most masks besides the ResMeds, as I understand it, have around 30 L/m at that pressure. That can make a difference--how much humidified air is goig out the front of your mask.
So, I wouldn't necessarily worry about emptying the tank on the Respironics humidifier.
