I read my Encore Viewer results every day. I then input them into an Excel spreadsheet, which takes less than a minute. The columns show the data, the graphs show the trends. I start a new spreadsheet each month and move the old one into the folder with that month's Encore Viewer daily files.

No, you can't get more data with Encore Pro. It gives the same data as Encore Viewer. With Pro Analyser it looks at the entire data base and it does show a bit more and is easier to look at and understand the trends.

However with Encore Pro, you have all your downloads in one place, and can just make a report on them whenever you want. You can also keep track of your supplies & or want list. You can store all your doctors you use as contacts. Jim

From my understanding the big difference between the viewer package and the Pro package is the viewer package does not allow you to save the data to a file.

As someone else has mentioned this is most important when you are trying to analyse and determine best treatment.

I have a free program called Primo PDF. With it, I can save my Viewer daily reports to a file folder in "My Documents". I can also save the reports for a week and see trends. From that, I can see how I am doing, since Viewer gives a long term trend (Page 3) and the last 2 pages give lots of data for the week. From that I can see if any changes might be needed.

I have been using Encore Viewer, but got a copy of Encore Pro 1.8 off a bit torrent using the uTorrent downloader. The software installed and read the card. Next stop is to check out he Encore Pro Analyzer.

The only question is, can using some of the utilities that write to the EncorePro card do any harm? After inserting the card back into the Auto M unit, it blinks and beeps for a while.

Just wanted to add to this because I'm sure it will come up. I purchased at full price the Viewer software and realize the downloading using a torrent is not the most legit way to get software. If it was available on the market, this wouldn't be my first choice for procurement.

The beeping with putting the card back in the machine has more to do with switch bounce than card damage. When you push the card it the contacts go over each other this confused the XPAP computer. If you unhooked the XPAP power before taking the card in and out, it would probably like it better. I try to use a firm study insert.

The best way to control the power on your XPAP would be a surge strip with it's on-off switch. Jim

Hi,

I am new to the forum. I have a question.

Can I use Analyzer with Encore Viewer or do I have to have Encore Pro.

I used to have Encore Pro with an old Remstar Pro but can't find the software now. I had a hard disk crash and data loss since then and no longer have it on my computer. I just got a copy of Viewer with a new M series APAP machine.
