The bitterness on this board towards Resmed is quite amusing to me.

At least Resmed knew, during the design stage, the machine would need a power supply and did not have to add a power brick as a after thought.

Thats the main reason I went with Resmed (I travel a lot & love it!). Not to mention the fact that I didn't want to have to bring an extra towel with me to catch the leaking water.

For the small amount of cost these filters represent to the Machine in general and to your health, change them every 3-4 weeks. And Resmed units, unlike Respironics' and other manufacturers do not have a Pollen/Reusable as well as an Ultra FIne Disposible. Resmed filters are considered to be disposible and should never be reused. I suggest for the best filters buy the Hypo-Allergenic filters which are 2 filters in one - a pollen blue filter and an ultrafine white layer. These aren't available everywhere, but once you use them you can see just how dirty the electrostatically charged part of the filter gets (white). Let me know if you need to know where to buy these filters....I have found a couple places.
