Uh... If you hate the Swift, and you're a side sleeper, try the Nasal Aire II. Minimal to no headgear required. The barrel is small and doesn't rest on your lip. Vents front, so you can side sleep all you want.

I'm currently running a "test drive" for folks who are interested in finding out if this mask would work for them. All it costs you is the price of postage.
PM "Babette" if you're interested.
Cheers,
B.

Me too.
I like my Swift, but I have to say that it is very sensitive to movement which then causes leaks. The only real solution I have seen to this is to loop some stabilizing strap over the nosepiece but then you'll have a band around your face and mouth.
The straps do not ride up for me, that's not a problem.
My Opus should be here today. I can't wait to try it. It looks similar to the Respironics OptiLife, but has the advantage of the swivel.

I just went to cpap.com and they have the cradle cushions for the OptiLife mask. I ordered 2 in my size. I have had an OptiLife for several months. I am thinking about contacting Respironics and see if they would give me at least one cradle cushion free, since I just got the Optilife recently.

Good Luck with that ---I hope you get one free. I just got my OPTI LIFE last SATURDAY from Apria --maybe I should ask them for that--LOL! How much were they?
I really hate my Mirage Swift, and I am side sleeper so it leaked too much for me, the OPTI LIFE seemed like a good one --you do have lots of freedom too---:)
Now what about all the extra noise? I DID notice that it is so much more nosier than my comfort gel ---I just cannot pin point where that noise comes from --it is the exhalation holes maybe are too small? Let me know if you find anything out--thanks--

The Cradle Cushions for the OptiLife are $29.99 at cpap.com. If you just bought on Saturday, I think you should get one (some????). I did contact them via their site. I'll have to wait and see what they say. I bought in January so don't hold out much hope of getting a freebie!!
Actually, I contacted Respironics online a month or so ago and suggested this kind of thing for the OptiLife!!!! I had the Original ComfortLite a few years ago and that had the nasal pillows and cushions like these. I mentioned that and suggested they do that for the Optilife!!!
I don't expect there is any commission or something like that in this for me!?!? HA! HA!
