Google, guessing, and some knowledge of French... disregard capitals - they are not emphasis.
MESSAGE TO FRIENDS:
Once more a new morning will be in the sky. And THIS BY ITSELF ALREADY MEANS A GREAT NEWNESS, A GREAT GIFT. TIME FOLLOWS ITS COURSE WHILE YOU GO CREATING MARKS TO JUSTIFY ITS HISTORY. Time is the most perishable thing in exitstence.
THEREFORE act to use your energy for good action, FOR contemplating the BEAUTY, the GOOD, loving people, practicing the GOOD, helping your neighbor ... You have all your next moments before you.
Fill TIME WITH MEANING AND special feelings, put forth the joy of living. Occupy your mental space with what you want to happen, and so you will stand closer to your dreams.
Love!!! And let yourself love with intensity. Nothing is better than truly loving the people you choose to love. Give thanks you exist. I am grateful to all of you, many blue kisses on your hearts. CLÁUDIA TOLEDO. I SPOKE WITH DRA. SILVANA NOW a LITTLE on the TELEPHONE, she is doing well and sends a kiss full of affection.
Love is contagious, keep that in mind.
AH! I almost forgot: Larissa is well, she asked for a box of color pencils and a notebook. She is my good angel and grace. The other day she made me take an enamel (a candy?) and even chose the colour, it had to be pink. I love Larissa very much, I love her like my daughter Marinha.
Brazilian, please tell Claudia that if she uses non-capitalized letters, translation will be much easier.
Thank you
O.

The delightful emails from our Brazilian friends (family?) are adding a philisophical aspect to this thread that is rather delightful. Thanks Ozij for your repeated efforts at polishing the translations.
We are getting a very touching insight into the way our dear friends there see things and express them.
This whole thread is a marvel of learning, love, communication & appreciation of other people and places.

Since I have been keeping up with this thread, I am just amazed at how the people on this board have come together to help this child, a total stranger a world away from us. Maybe this place called Earth is not as messed up as it seems sometimes. This act sure give one hope!!! It makes me proud to be apart of a group of strangers who have proven that there are indeed good people in the world.
Thanks for being the kind of people you are all. It is a great place to be!!

Yes isn't it incredible.
I am still so impressed with Banned who so unselfishly looked at what he could do almost the day after Brazilian had posted the story. I was hesitant as have had a lot of bad experiences on recent travel to the US of people who look very presentable approaching my wife & I (clearly tourists) and asking for money while telling us the most outlandish stories as to why they needed. But, once Banned took his step forward, decided I would be right there in support.
The outcome has been just wonderful.

Ólá!
.... News flash: yesterday spent the whole afternoon with Larissa in the children's CTI, we played together, designed (drew pictures?) colored and sang together. She wanted to sit in my lap the whole time and whenever she could insisted that I embrace her tight. She is well. Later I will send pictures of the meeting. Blue kisses.

Thank you, Claudia, for sharing with us your experiences with Larissa.
Has she already been able to use the bi-pap?

Hi, all!
Larissa is scheduled to start using her new BiPAP this Friday. Legal papers are almost ready, and tomorrow we will meet Dr. Pedro to discuss the settings of the AutoSV.
She has fully recovered from the pneumonia (and I was told she had even caught a dangerous bacteria during that period, but she is just fine now).
I paid her a visit today, and had an hour meeting with the hospital's psychologist.
She was delighted with my cap and sunglasses, and made me took some pictures of her with them on...
Claudia has been visiting her almost everyday, and took a few pictures also, I will post them asap.

She sure looks healthy and happy! What GREAT pictures! Plenty of personality and that expression of sheer fun!
Good luck with Larissa's initial BiLevel settings... And I hope those very first settings work like a wonderful magic pill for Larissa! Thanks Brazilian and Claudia for the recent updates!
HOORAY FOR LARISSA AND ALL HER HELPFUL FRIENDS!!!!

Well.. I just dropped by after being absent for a month or so to see if there were any new FFM's out that might not make my nose break out, and to see who DSM is donating time to, and I see this thread. How amazing. Really amazing.
I read page 1-12 like it was a movie, hoping the end was a good one.
I had to take my GF to the emergency room last week for a mystery illness and the Dr said "You people need to stop googling and playing internet doctors".. I had to laugh AT her. Maybe I'll send her this thread...
