True true! No worries...I'm just ribbin' ya. Hey...at least you aren't drinking Bud Light, Miller Light, Coors Light, Ultra Light, Ultra Super Light or the new Ultra Mega Super Really REALLY Light.

Just don't ask for a Fosters in Australia or you will get laughed out of the pub! The guys from my companies OZ office claim it's a very low level brand there and basically marketed solely for export to Americans. Ahhh...advertising.
They claim it is akin to walking into a US bar and proclaiming, proudly "Bartender! Milwaukee's Best! Draft please!"
Yeah -- like Corona in Mexico. Only one's drinking that stuff down there are tourists -- being this is a family forum, I can't repeat what we called it......
cheers

Hey I love the reminiscing about all the Second City cast members...all good Canadians now living (I believe...not sure 100%) in the warmth of California!
As I said before Beer is Beer...some I would drink others I won't. There's good and then there's awful. Just like CPAP, one likes ResMed another loves Respironics etc. Beer and CPAP, it's good for you!
Good idea for a Tee!

I was a huge fan of SCTV back in the day. I always loved Eugene Levy who has had quite a career as an actor/writer/director as of late.
My favorite SCTV bit is still the one where Rick Moranis mimics Michael McDonald with a big cheesy beard.

I think John Candy was also a member of SCTV.

It's amazing the things we
think are true because of advertising. My wife is a Gin & Tonic drinker so when we went to London several years ago, at a pub she asked for a "Tanqueray & Tonic", her favorite. We didn't give it a second thought since the ads show swank Brits drinking the stuff and it says "Imported London Dry Gin" all over the bottle. The bartender looked at her like she had three heads. "Tanqueray? What the bloody hell is that?!". She settled for Beefeater.
Yet another product made for export to the states that the locals won't touch.
