I recommed the Sleep Number 5000. I use to have a water bed and could not sleep on any regular mattresses. We purchased the sleep number bed about 8 months ago and then I found out about the apnea about 2 months ago. Sleep number at 35 on my side of the bed and 55 for my wife along with CPAP has led to great sleep. I would highly recommend the bed because you can adjust it to whatever firmness you like. I am a back sleeper but have now learned to sleep on my side due to the apnea, and the bed adjusted correctly is comfortable and allows me to sleep well on my side.
