They also ask if you are a CPAPTALK member, so they could check your profile or posts. However, I think that they will just take a person's word for it, too. I think they are pretty trusting, in that regard.

I registered for the trial. I ended up shaving off my beard so that I could get a good seal around my Mirage FF mask. I'm looking forward to seeing if this one works, either through participation ... or just seeing the results.

I've been using Resmed FFM since they first came out.

The first generation was miserable because of the headgear mount points gauranteeing leeks.

The Series 2 was my favorite until the Quattro. Headgear mounts were much improved and the mask worked well for me.

The Ultra Mirage FFM was a step backwards for me. The forehead bar was too wide and displaced the mask when sleeping on my side. I'm a side sleeper unfortunately. I kept buying the Series 2 until it was no longer available. When I could no longer buy headgear I switched to the Hybrid Universal Interface.

I got one of the first Quattros that came out. There was a bad leak at the joint of the mask and the elbow. Fortuneately that was remedied in my second Quattro. The Quattro has narrower forehead pads and they work for me, at least much better than the Ultra Mirage. The cushion has changes which prevents leaks better also.

However, I'm ALWAYS looking for a better FFM and would appreciate the opportunity to try a Hans Rudolph.

I just signed up for the challenge--hope i make it in. I like the UMFF, but the forehead thing can be a pain sometimes. I use my Hybrid most of the time, but I'd really like another FF that would give my nose a rest from the nasal pillows. For me, the UMFF is kind of fickle as far as if it will seal well--sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't! I've tried several FF masks, and so far, the UMFF is the only other FF mask (other than the Hybrid) that works for me at all.

I too hope I am chosen.......I've already gone through a few masks is a few weeks......the quattro leaked like a sieve......the UMFF is a bit better but I am having trouble getting it to seal. I like the F&P432, but that too is tough to seal....I'm a side sleeper and it seems difficult to find a mask that seals.

I've pretty much used nothing but my UMFF for the last 3 years. I flirted briefly with the DreamFit, but after a couple of months, the velcro fasteners at the back of the head died and I just went back to my UMFF. I'm in need of a new mask, so I really REALLY hope I get selected.
