Hey.... Den, why don't you just KEEP this Prime Real Estate, and open a CPAP-ONLY Resort? All rooms are already furnished with your choice of machine - instead of asking for a King or a Queen or whatever, you ask for an APAP, or a SV8 or whatever.

And there's a full service Mask Rental Bar off the Lobby.

I'm sure the original poster will sell you his NEW CPAP for a very reasonable cost to begin furnishing suites....

One has to hope the Den will buy this guy's machine. I know Den is partial to his tanks and this is a pretank model but it kind of looks like a "tank".

I am also wondering if Den, once he buys the machine, can actually find a power cord for it. It has to be so hard to get the right one. I know my old "trash can" Remstar Choice LX uses a standard computer cord and my new fangled Pro 2 and APAP tank both use the same cord easily bought at cpap.com.

I just hope Den is up for this challenge.

And, again Den, just send the kickback checks to Babs - I hope she doesn't embezzle the funds and squander it all away on a vacation at the Den's Seaview Ocean Front Resort with hostess / co owner preemiern.

as a native floridian who did own oceanside property.......and lost power for nearly 6 weeks during the 2004 hurricane season, cpap is useless, LOL.

OH..and btw...I got smart and MOVED! Spent a year rebuilding my home, and put it on the market, picked a dot on a map, and ended up near the mountains of NC. No power losses here. If i miss the sound of waves crashing on the shore, i open the faucet and close my eyes.

Babs is trustworthy -- I will vouch for her!! She won't embezzle -- at least not THAT many of the NA2s that he has on hand!! After all with all the wealth he will have he won't miss a few of them anyway!!

That was the intention.

From what I've seen of what happens to the costal areas during hurricanes and other forms of devastation......I wouldn't want to live in those areas.

I suppose this is as good a thread as any to submit my "respiratory-disturbance-inclined" family's desperate plea.

You see we have an elderly aunt who lives on a houseboat way out on the ocean in Wyoming. She is currently shacking up with a young lifeguard from Troy, but that's an entirely different story. Wyoming, of course, is situated beneath one of the world's largest oceans---but that's a geography lesson we all had back in grade school, if I recall correctly.

Anyway the salty ocean air causes dear Aunt Weeza to require a very specific type of CPAP machine. According to my aunt's doctor (whose medical office is situated out on an oil rig) the CPAP must meet these three criteria:

1) Must be brand spanking new (preferably mint or proof quality from what I am told),
2) Must be circa 1998 (give or take a few days)
3) Must not under any circumstances come bundled with a power cord (the single most important criterion I am told)

I'm thinking my aunt's doctor has a hole in the head!!!

This type of machine is obviously going to be impossible for me to find. Should I just write Aunt Weeza and tell her to move back to dry land?

My oceanfront property in Wyoming does not have electricity, so if you could find poor aunt Weeza the CPAP machine the doctor says she must have without the power cord, I will rent you a little piece of my oceanfront property...you could build your aunt Weeza and her friend Troy a little hut there, and she should do just fine since there is no electricity...
Let me know, and we will work out a rental agreement
