Cpap users have had three manufacturers representing 90% of all CPAPs sold world wide make it more difficult and more costly to buy products on the internet. The magic day is April fools day for all of them. How very thoughtful of them.

More to the real point of an April 1 start, is that it's the day that the next "Financial Quarter" commences in the US... but why let mere reality get in the way of foolish rants!

While the fiscal year for Fisher & Paykel ends on 31 March, fiscal years for both ResMed and Respironics end on 30 June.

If, as they say, they are forcing retail prices higher solely for the altruistic reason of ensuring better "service" to the patients, why would they tie that policy back in to their "
Financial Quarter"?

hopefully the new owner of Respironics - Phillips will take the Remstars and put them on pallets at Costco like they did with Norelco razors
oh wait that may mean they took a good razor and made it cheaper and crappier
