It seems that you are the touchy one around here. You have been a member for what -- a couple of days?

You haven't posted enough to let us get to know you -- just spammed the board with offers to read everyone's data.

For the most part I have found that members WANT to help each other on here and it is great you want to -- but you have went waaaaay beyond offering your help. It is called blatant advertising in my opinion!!!

Back off and let us get to know you before jumping on anyone's case here!!! We haven't gone waaay overboard with the spam -- you have.

Well, if the trying-to-earn-some-income-honestly part is legit, I'd rather see that than a purse-snatcher, burglar or mugger.

Though, I find it really odd for someone to suddenly appear with such an offer, without first having spent time here getting to be known. And to demonstrate some caring about and interest in the others he's hoping to get some spendable "tips" from. So, therefore, it sounds like "suspicious" is the best polite word that fits UPM's offer as of today.

That UPM has directed the offer personally to many people without appearing to have read each one's profile, signature or looked intently at their therapy arsenal pictures on posts before directing his offer to them really bothers me.

But too, I can be a really cranky old fart anyway... even when I do get enough caffeine. Maybe I'm just overreacting to a benevolent gonna-be "S"aint, visiting here to try to earn his place on the "S" list.

Nodzy...

PS - UPM, if that's a gig to meet potential mates.... I shudder.

Crazy! Thought I'd seen it all. And, unless one planned to constantly send their data, day after day, then the idea is really pretty absurd. One report would be of very limited use, regular/daily reports just wouldn't be feasible. This does present as a money-making tactic, disquised as benevolence. We've all seen those before in emails, forums, junk mail . . . Probably best ignored, as we do with our junk email.
Moreover, if ever anyone on this forum did want this kind of help, any of us would gladly oblige and would not suggest or accept any "reward" for helping out.

Seems many have spare time.
Any way it's a free country.

I'm not sure it's an abundance of spare time, but a desire to help others with this same frustrating problem, and to have place where so many experienced folks can help us when we run up against a brick wall with treatment---and all without charge.

Edit: Right now Encore Viewer software is selling over on cpapauction.com for $50.50, with one day left.

You are right it's a free country. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Here are few sayings that come to mind.

"Wolf in sheep clothing" "Look before you leap" "It's not what you say it's how you say it" Most important "Trust has to be earned not just given away!"

upm903 wrote:If u r interested in reports from the New Encore Viewer from Respironics I can run it for you and Email you the reports.

Using the utility at http://www.mycpap.com you copy your SmartCard to disk and Email me the file to UPMCPAP@hotmail.com .

All you need to buy now is just the card reader. You can save the software Price about 130$.

If satisfied you could reward me at the same Email.

Sam
What country are you from Sam? We don't write $130 as 130$ in the US.

Also, nobody offering a legitimate service would use text shortcuts such as "u r" instead of "you are". And why are you making those posts to the admiral about his avatar?

This whole thing reeks of something, just not sure what yet. Is you uncle a former official who needs to get money out of Nigeria and needs our help if we only wire him $5,000, and then we get to keep millions?

I guess you should say "most of" instead of "anything".
I noticed that 95% who posted here believe what u just said. Actually overreacting and jumping into fast conclusions. Some even picturing me as a thief, womanizer etc... lol
I am just trying to give a service and get paid that's all.

I thought again.
Some said I didnt explain myself correctly.
It is just an idea I thought of doing to make some money. No more than that.
What would I do with an XYZ person 's sleep data ?
XYZ is someone i dont know - could be a phony Email just for that purpose.
I am sure I will get another Mr. Colombo style answer to this post.
Getting to be an interesting debate. Let see what we get next

lol
