How coincidental... got another FAKE Ebay email. When I right-mouse clicked on the link, it was a FAKE site asking me my password and email to Ebay. I reported it.
It looked pretty real. Luckily, I did not list anything on Ebay.
They are getting pretty good at imitating sites and trying to hack people's accounts.

And you are surprised WHY? Because you thought ________?

I figured they would make it more legit looking, like the previous Ebay Phishing Email I received before. The links on that one were working links. These hacks aren't as clever.

Personally, I wouldn't even try the links on something that looked phishy. I'm not up on all the latest tricks but I wouldn't want to risk some little applet being activated by my clicking on anything!

I read what the links are by right mouse-clicking using Firefox and it shows me the link's name which was actually an unknown IP address. No way would I click on them.

Thanks for the FYI. I got an email the other day from PayPal. I looked through it and noticed the URL was wrong. I just deleted the email.

Hi everyone. My son had this happen several years ago and had a lot of problems getting it straightened out. FYI.

One thing that all must learn is that you never respond to an email from Paypal I have 7 websites and probably 20 email addresses and there is never a day that I don't get counterfeit emails from paypal and they are all phishes. The only time that I ever get a real email from Paypal is when I buy something.
People should stop to think before they respond to email from any source. This morning I got security notices from 5 banks that I don't even have accounts at. All telling me to log into my account.

I'm surprised that paypal didn't contact you that there was a problem. Last year they sent me an e-mail stating that my account may have been compromised, and I had to contact them for all kinds of verification. I checked my account and there were no charges.
That is a definite sign that the email that you got was a PHISH!!
