If this is related to the amount of data collected before a download occurs; which I don't think is the case. Then how many days of data are collected before there is a 'dead' spot?

Firmware is what some of us have previously concluded is the most likely culprit.

Problem seems to apply only to the M-Series (not the older "tanks")....

Amount of data collected varies. Mine typically occurs on weekends (when I sleep longer). In A-flex mode, the card holds about 7 days of detailed data but note that how much is actually on there varies because it also holds compliance data for much longer. That doesn't take up as much room.

Amount of data collected. Mine has been really acting up while I have had a cold which is causing me to spend much more time in bed. A couple of times the machine alarm has gone off and the lights flash. Removing & reinserting the card turns off the alarm, but then it seems that that night's data, recorded before the alarm, has disappeared and the card only records from that point forward. On a night like last night where I only got 7 1/2 hours of sleep it didn't have any problem recording it.

I wonder if doing this while the machine is ON would corrupt the data? I never insert or remove my card while the blower is on. Just wondering here?

I always turn the blower off before I remove the card. I guess I could unplug it...

The cure is get a "Tank", or run two "M"agics attached to one mask, then you mght get them to overlap, and give you a weeks data. Jim

Love it!
Much better solution than moaning and groaning about it.

It's like a Y2k bug - ya know this may be a bit far fetched but I am gonna throw it out anyway. I don't remember having any data loss w/my last card but it does seem w/this card that I have a repeated loss, I just can't ID a pattern.
I have not figured out how to Identify these cards. Could it be the cards?
