Al is not stupid
Don't put yourself down like that
But Linda is hurt
No thank you from Al
For present of silly bird
So she will steal it
And set the bird free
Or make it her avatar
Would it be OK?
Linda,
your friend in haiku-land

I think I shall "borrow" the dove for use as my avatar.
Do you mind?

Sleep, where art thou, Sleep?
It was in the

Who would have thunk it?

Linda the dove would be a perfect avatar for you. How could I mind? But you'll have to tell me how you put it in there so I can shop for your 1000th post present.

I'm assuming "Guest" is BuffaloAl??
Confess, Al, so I can teach you how to do it.
Or is this someone else?
Linda,
who has now changed her avatar to that nifty dove

John RN hello?
I'm guessing you have a dog rather than just posting an avatar of a dog you would like to have....
Anyway, does your dog like to lick the air coming from the vent? My dog has done this a few times.

Hi Linda,
I like your dove. I also liked your peeps!
The dove reminds me of the building that
Wader helped engineer -- did you see that during the first Curiosity thread? It is an amazing building!
I am an amateur birdwatcher -- well brought up by my Mom -- who is
very serious about birdwatching!

Thanks glassgal,
Yes, I like the dove and my peeps. (they're still around, hoping for another chance!) I think I must like the animal/nature pictures. But I liked the movement of the dove's wings. If I were an animal (other than ourselves, of course, since technically we are animals), I'd like to be a bird.
Thanks about the reference to
Wader's work. I had almost forgotten that, but I had remembered the photos generally and knew of
Wader's work as an architect. You got me reminiscing about that topic and looking back at it, so I've started a new one, linking to the old one. Some fun reading and remembering. Thanks for that.
Linda
