Goose, you put on the Topaz first, then the Headrest. I've done that. I had a Headrest for a few nights, decided it wasn't an improvement over my then current choice (the Breeze) and passed it along.

The good thing about doing it this way is it increases the tension, so your mask stays in place better.

I have the same problem. And my wife alerted me to the problem. I found my solution by cutting 1/2 of an old headgear and using it as a chinstrap. I loop it around the sides of my current headgear and under my chin using its velco pads to attach it. It hold my mouth closed all night with no strain or pain. I have been doing that when I got a useless chinstrap from my DME.

I was wondering about a pic too. Too bad we all don't get one of those styrofoam heads when we get our cpaps........so we can show what we've done to our equipment, without risking being shunned.
