Does anyone have a link to a users manual for the FP humidifiers? I have the 150 and would like to look at a manual.

Thanks for the info on the heavier chambers. I had looked on cpap.com and all I could find was the disposable chambers. Must not have been looking in the right place or was in a fog when I was looking.
Oh well, the cheaper one that I have should last for a quite a while as I use distilled water and not tap water. Figuring cost the I could buy 4 or 5 of the disposable ones for the cost of the heavier one.
Do appreciate the information for future references!!

Several weeks ago, I sent our hosts an email about the disposable chambers vs. the 'permanent' one. Cpap.com only stocks the disposable type, according to their reply.

According to their web site they have 9 of the " permanent" chambers in stock.

I bought one of the ones that opens, most likely would not do it again. I think the disposable ones work to well but the other one has a big "O" ring seal around the bottom that lets it come apart and be cleaned. It is also a bit heaver plastic. The spouts on the dispoable ones will crack if you handle them to rough. They recomend using a quick connector instead of putting the hose directly on the chamber.

6point, I see that... and the confusion comes from the fact that I was asking about the permanent vs disposable chambers for the 604 or 608 cpap, not the stand alone humidifier. They are not the same.

A very cheap, readily available "connector" can be found right in your hometown. This is what I've been using for years to connect the hose(s) to the F&P humidifier. Works great.

Try looking for a Manual at the fisher & Paykel website and look for Frankshospitalsupply
