I got that small from Jerry on Saturday and it was here waiting for me when I got back Sunday Evening so I got to try it out and boy what a difference. It was the first night I got more than about 4 hours of good sleep because of mixture of leaks and other general things for a while. I only woke up to few tiny leaks that were fixed by a slit wiggle and off to sleep I was again. No removing the mask while I slept either.

*huggles*

Thanks so Much Guys

The Nasal-Aire one cannulas are different in size from the nasal aire II cannulas. The whole feel is different, more sturdy inside the nose. someone should call for a "star" on those sizes, as well. As wonderful as nasal aire II is, I like Nasal aire one better.

Hi Babs

I just went from the medium to a medium plus. For me it is the difference between putting the prong in as far as it will go as opposed to just inserting the raised tip

The medium plus seems to work a little better for me

I have found that using the large I don't have to insert them to my brain and is a lot more comfortable. I did modify the headgear -- in fact totally rebuilt it from scratch. Trying it tonight.

Yay Christy!

Yay Tom!

Yay Carol!

I haven't tried the NAI, I think I'll stick with the NAII for now - I've finally gotten my mask inventory down to JUST MY STUFF THAT WORKS and I think I wanna keep it that way. For now. I reserve the right to lose my mind over a new mask in the future.

Carol, you must post pix!!!! I'm dying to see what you came up with!

My "sorta extra snuggly hose" that I jerry rigged for the NAII is working great - no rainout past two nights. It's definitely a jerry rig though, and needs improvement. I raided it from some previous mask - Breeze I think. I'm envisioning a small pair of pants for the NAII.

Jerry - I STILL OWE YOU A SMALL! I'll catch you up next time around, I swear!!!!

Now we just need to figure out who got the stash of all the other sizes.... Carol was that you, or was that AllergyRidden? If it was you, and there's a SMALL in there, send it to Jerry.

LOL,
Babs

LOL Babs I told my mom about your Snuggle Covers and she's gonna make me some with some left over fleece from the dog blankets for the puppies she's selling.

I don't have a problem with rain out really, but I don't really turn on my HH past 1 because of fear of it. Our room gets really cold at night so cold it can be hard to stand it, we keep cuddled under blankets. That is unless we open our door to the rest of the house, but with 6 people in a two bed room house it's the only privacy we have.

Thanks again so much guys,

Hey Christy,

I know how it is about privacy. We purchased our house when I was pregnant with baby number one. We raised five kids in a four room house -- 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. We had a bathroom big enough for one person -- and hope that you aren't claustrophobic when in there.

They are all grown now and the house is perfect size.

Oh good, at least Jerry got a Small out of all the passing around! I suddenly worried about him being shortchanged. Even though he told me he had plenty. He's just been so darned helpful to ME and everyone else, I just wanted to make sure Santa visited him this month.

Hey Christy, if your mom is so inclined, get her to make you some tiny "pants" for your NAII itself, in addition to the long hose. I think given the amount of tubing the NAII has, it really needs it.

I love to keep my room cold and snuggle down, too, but the rainout issues have kept my heater on all night. I really am dreading the winter's electric bill. Thank god for "Budget Billing" so I won't HAVE to pay more than $80! Until next summer, when they re-adjust...

LOL,
Babs

It wouldn't be so bad if the other 4 in our house weren't my parents, my sister, and her 9 year old son. But yeah sounds exactly like my house, and our tiny bathroom.

LOL Babs that's what I meant already, she's gonna make little snuggles. I already bought a hose snuggle from CPAP.com since I was having to order a different chinstrap and the shipping was the same. I used money given to me for taking my In-laws land lord to the Airport for thanksgiving vacation. I was gonna buy a pair of pants, but I really needed a chinstrap for when I sleep inclined or sitting up. To bad it's the second one that didn't work for me and made my jaw hurt. Tried it at my In-laws this weekend and my husband said I woke him up several times and it sounded like I was gurgling, and I was choking. Maybe I need to try one like yours Babs, but I'm unsure about the one from CPAP cause looks like one size, I've seen other sites with different sizes online and I wouldn't know which size to get even then it be like shooting in the dark.

I think that the pants will be my project for tomorrow. Yep, still no school for tomorrow due to the ice. Means two days we will make up at the end of school.

Christy, I love my Topaz, but other people don't. It's very individual, just like the mask. I need the extra parts of the Topaz on my hair or it just slides off. I've tried the BreatheWear version, and one that's just a single strap, and both tend to slide off my head.

BTW, Carol, the "summer version" of your new NAII headgear-hat is out there on the web. Lessee if I can find it again. Anyway, you cut off the top of a baseball cap and do just what you did with the stocking cap.

Yup, here it is!
http://www.sleep-cap.com/

No reason you couldn't make this yourself, instead of buying it from this guy.

And if you go into my sig line to my NAII tip sheet, there's a link there to pix of my Topaz/NAII headgear morph.

Must go sleep. 12 hour days at work are making my eyes cross.

Cheers,
Babs
