What a great idea -- I'll have to get some silicone earplugs in the morning.....
I have the same problem of longer nares but have been "making it work".....this sounds like the real deal!!!
I love the headrest mask, so it's just another way to make it better!!!!

Thanks Mike -- great info!!!!!

cheers

Using Silicone earplugs as a "ring" around nasal pillows is an excellent idea - especially for those of us with slotted nares who might otherwise have trouble using nasal pillows. With the earplugs, I was finally able to get a good seal with my Opus. As Suz-E-Q suggested, my key to a good seal was using smaller sized pillows with the silicone ring

I tried the putty -- works ok......

One problem I've had with it is that for the first time I have sore nares....Somehow it is changing the angle of the pillow to press against the inside of the nose causing a sore......
I also noticed that it didn't change my leak statistics at all so it seems like without the putty the pillows are sealing just fine....

Contrary to Greyhound and Suz-E-Q, I found that larger pillows sealed better for me than the smaller ones.

I've stopped using the putty for now until the sore in my nose heals, but I did find that it formed to the nares as it warmed and provided a complete seal. I may go back to it later, but then again, I may not...
