Just be careful moving your machine around. If the humidifier water splashes into it, its a goner.

Hello--I leave mine out but I guess I never thought to put it away!! I am not ashamed of it so I leave it out. I have put a glass cutting board under it though that has the little rubber feet-on eahc corner to keep it from sliding around----that way it still looks nice and protects the night stand top. They have the 5 X 7 boards at Target for a coule of bucks. Why hide it?

I leave mine out.
Cats (4) don't bother with it at all. They'll sleep on the bed with it running -- I get the strangest looks when I put the mask on, but they don't shy away - I mean, you know cats.....
Knock on wood -- never had a problem with them putting holes in the hose or playing with it at all......

When I'm on the road I generally put it in the drawer next to the bed - but I don't travel with the HH, so......

mis dos centavos....
