I didn't take my snoring seriously until a friend who is younger than me had to get a pacemaker. His heart rate went way down and it was a result of untreated sleep apnea. He encourages everyone to get a sleep study that suspects it might be an issue. I'm so grateful for his missionary zeal. Didn't know how good I could feel. Can't remember feeling good in the morning since I was a kid! What a waste of years. I would fall asleep in a movie since my early 20s and wasn't overweight or anything but did snore

How could any being get to heaven with a nine foot pile of "damns" on their head?

Well there's also the "as long as were both wide awake now we might as well take advantage of the opportunity..." effect!

I feel I have had problems for much longer than I would have thought, and symptoms came on little by little that I did not notice the changes till it was bad. I noticed this past year the tell tale signs of major fatigue, headache, falling asleep during the day, brain fog and now thinking back to other issues I have been having with my health, see its been going on much longer. My wife has told me I always snored and I sound like all Three Stooges snoring at the same time. It kind of bothers me with my other medical problems, that sleep apnea is a marker on all of my ailments, and not one doctor had said anything.
So I would say it has been at least 10 years of symptoms and just diagnosed a few weeks ago but then again I didn't notice the signs either.

Brain problems are caused by posting on old useless polls. Jim

I've snored since I was a little kid I have always had low energy and loved naps/sleeping. My guess is I've had OSA most of my life. I'm 46.
