My sleep doc suggested a solution I use (both in and underneath my nose) -- may sound a bit weird but it's KY jelly (I'm actually using the newer liquid version). Since it's water soluble it won't degrade the silicone of the mask or pillows, and it protects my skin and helps "seat" the nasal pillows. I only use a few drops.

And let's not get too carried away with the potential humor of this one!!
