I am going to request that my Pulmonologist write me a prescription for 1.8+
THEN see what Apria says. I told the head of their customer service of my intentions today but I wanted to know if Apria knows how to order the software.
It was an email.

IF a doctor prescribes it, and I am willing to pay for it, how can Respironics or Apria say no? I am curious to find out. I have used 1.6 for over a year with no ill effects. So they cannot truthfully say I can't handle using their software.

If they refuse to sell it to me I will see what remedies are available.

I know it is available off the internet and from Australia, but I am hoping to get it from the company.

2000 is a solid O/S as long as you apply all the patches.
NT is ok. It did push Novell into the "also ran" category. I've worked more than 3 projects to remove Novell from corporations that were going to NT or Linux (my bias is with Linux)....I'm not lover of NT either, but if you look at the install base, Novell may as well roll over.....the body is cold!!! (except with the State.....but the State is always at least 10 years behind real technology. Last I knew they were still running Novell 4.x)......
That said, I'd also like to know about the .65 version -- but not on here -- PM only please!!!!

cheers
