Clear II, or New Clear, is a less intensely peppermint version of Clear. PM Brett (SleepGuy) about it, or email him through the website. I think he might soon update the website to offer both. Not sure.
Sheba, will do!

[quote="Babette"]I take credit as being the lazy fool who admitted I quit swapping pads and just use the same pad every night, piling scents up on top of each other. I'm mixing Peace and Clear, Peace and Comfort, and straight Spice.
Decided Ylang Ylang was a Y-not Y-not, and traded Paradise for some more Spice with another forum member.
I've been using the same pad now for weeks. Maybe I should wash it. (shrugs)
BTW.... Not to detract from Bret and Pur-Sleep at all, but I've also found a new fave - Mellow Mix by Aura Cacia - primarily Lavender and Sandalwood, with some citrus, neroli, and other notes. Slept very well with it for several nights, then took it to work and am now using it in a plug-in diffuser ball. Trying to Diffuse some of the Angry Parent Energy in my office.
I'm burning a Puraira lamp right now with Pur-Amber. I don't SMELL anything, it's just nice in here and doesn't stink of the Mexican lunch and the BBQ dinner.
LOL,
B.

I think the only one I'm not currently using is Fresh. I like it, I just never reach for it. It's very citrus-y.
BTW, I'm a big fan of Clear II. I didn't like Clear I. I was one of those for whom peppermint is too stimulating. I love the new Clear II!
Cheers,
Barbara
Clear II? I don't have any How did you get it?

TO GET CLEAR II
Email Bret/SleepGuy, either by PMing him here from the Forum, or from his Pur-Sleep website.
He mentioned it on the forum, after some folks complained that Original Clear was too stimulating to sleep by. I emailed, I got it.
I dunno if it's really helping at work, but maybe I need to use more... The diffuser I'm using is pretty small, and it's a three-room office, AND the diffuser is located in front of an open door to the hallway.
As for the PURAIRA - it smells up my little apartment but GOOD! It's like incense, just without the smoke and the choking feeling I get from incense. Well, I'm using the PurAmber right now, so it's particularly incense-like. I need to try another scent and see what that smells like.
Cheers,
B.

jeff - gasp - Clear II is just the second bottling run for clear. The recipe changed a bit (no lemon, more lime, added lavender). It takes the edge off of the peppermint and I think works better for Pur-Sleep purposes than the first bottling run formulation.
The difference is noted on the label. The clear label is the first round; the version of clear with the opaque label is "Clear II". I have some old stock on hand (maybe 100 bottles) so if you'd like the original version, let me know. There's also some of the older Clear inventory in some of the starter kits.
I appreciate all of the feedback on the thread! It's very nice to see this crazy idea helping so many people!

Bret,
So one bottle of the New Clear, will really be like adding Peace to the Old Clear (but also with the changes made to the Clear formula)?
When will we see the NewClear on the Pur-Sleep Page? Thanks.

That pretty much sums it up. All Clear being shipped right now is the new formulation unless someone requests the old stock.

gasp wrote:I loved my trial (thanks again sleepguy) Pur-Sleep oils so much I bought the Deluxe Starter Pack (I believe it's called starter because it has all the scents, diffuser, and pads.
It's like a scent buffet each night. Hummm, which will it be tonight. My husband likes all but Spice, Paradise, and both of us don't like Rosa (which I traded for a Clear with another forum member).
I do find myself reaching for Comfort over and over as I get such great sleep and low AHI.
gasp, I'm with you on this one. Love clear and spice but get very good sleep on comfort! Paradise is also very nice!

Oh, Jeff you clever one. I wouldn't have thought of combining Peace and Clear to mostly equal Clear II. I think I'll try that again tonight - it's been awhile since doing that. I remember liking it. I get stuck on a favorite for awhile. Right now it's deep.

Morphing aromas, maybe?
I’m patiently waiting for SleepGuy to concoct morphing aromas -- one that offers subtle but unmistakable overtones that change from, say, apple pies baking to a juicy beef roast in the oven. Or maybe one that morphs from bacon and eggs cooking to homemade biscuits baking, and then to a pot of freshly brewed coffee.
Seriously, I'm still amazed that aromas by Pur-Sleep helped to offset my mask-off problems and encourage me to faster and deeper sleep. All without tainting my body with sleep-aid chemicals. I am still thrilled with the product.

Fine. Now I'm hungry! How about a product that tells the body it doesn't need another bite of food until it's under 25% body fat : )

I have enough problem with the secretaries in my building burning the Pumpkin Pie Spice Air Freshener oil majiggies around here... Last thing I need is FOOD IN THE BEDROOM!
That's it Nodzy! I'm kicking you out of bed for wafting Roast Beef aromas!
Crackers in bed are one thing (as in, "He's so fine, I wouldn't kick him out for eating crackers in bed"), but mouthwatering food smells just aren't a good idea in my bedroom... I drool enough in my sleep...

LOL! Hey, now that's a thought - am I drooling versus my mask being wet from condensation? Nah, the moisture wouldn't be all pretty and clear.

Now you have me wondering: How many of us drool and call it rainout?
