I don't mind being a night owl, so long as it's on the weekend.
I just got a fine suggestion from a PM, about using Vitamin C. Cool...!
I'll have to check out that chat thing.
Night owl, huh?

goodnite rock and roll.
It's only 9:15 here in hawaii. I am rather excited. Last night I went to bed at 11, and had to be up at 6, but I woke up at 5:45 wide awake and ready for the day! I took care of a newborn from 6:30am-7:30pm. Normally I would be so exhausted! But I am not! Hooray
cpap!

Gosh, that's terrific. Isn't it amazing the difference? I still have problems adapting to my
bipap, but I don't have that daytime exhaustion anymore. Congratulations to you! Wow. I forgot you were in Hawaii. That is a big time difference. It's tough enough for me to talk by phone to my best friend in California (me being on the east coast). Glad you've got more energy. Great
news!

Well, I am going to go relax before my family comes home. I will talk to you later. Try to get SOME sleep so you don't have to walk around wearing sunglasses because your eyes are all bloodshot!
nite,
auntie

Hope you're reading this reply after getting some sleep
I've also had a tooth out recently, one of the top front ones, so I know how you feel. Fortunately, I didn't have too much trouble with bleeding, though it was pretty sore for a few days. I do now find that my mask pushes against the gap and so it gets a bit sore sometimes, but I've only got to wait a couple of months before the dentist can build a bionic one to replace it
Have you got a comfortable armchair? When I was struggling to get used to sleeping with xPAP and the attached stuff, I got to the stage where I didn't like the idea of lying down with the mask on - it was in the days before I had a
heated humidifier so I got lots of nasal congestion.
So one afternoon, in desperation, I used pillows, a couple of quilts and a footstool to get comfortable in a sitting position in my favourite armchair, put on the mask and managed to get about 90 minutes sleep. Doesn't sound a lot, but that was probably the longest uninterrupted period of sleep I'd had for months
The trick is getting the pillows organised so your neck is reasonably upright and secure, so that your head doesn't flop forward.
Good luck

Hmm. Sounds like an idea worth trying! And yes, I'm still up.....but getting more and more sleepy.
Great idea. Yep, just might try that one.
Thanks!
