Been on Phillips REMstar Auto A-Flex System One nearly six months with 100% of nights and on machine all night. But I'm now addicted to deep sleep, better mood, fewer nightmares and lower blood pressure. I've had great support from vender and sleep doc & CPAP staff at VAMC La Jolla. 100% can be done with right equipment, proper adjustments, and attitude to overcome obstacles

But if you can't sustain 100% then do the best you can do. Nobody in their right mind will fault you.

Been using a cpap since 2007. So has my husband. It was a bit noisy, but we both recently got S9s (the problems with the new Medicare DMEs are another long story) and couldn't believe how quiet the bedroom became! Had to keep checking at first to be sure the machines were working. We're both 100% compliant.

Just call me Pavlov's dog! Within 60 seconds of attaching my nasal pillows I am in dream-land. Of course I could sleep standing on a Manhattan bus too; but that is beside the point. Went for a Compliance check this week and my MD said I was a rarity since I was 100% compliant; something she doesn't see very often. She then asked: "Are you an over-achiever with everything you do?"

Being one of the lucky ones, I had no trouble adjusting to the nightly ritual of CPAP - and frankly (my dear) In this order I need only 3 things to get an excellent night's sleep: 1) the dog in bed with us, 2) CPAP, 3) the wife. Wait, the order is wrong: first it's the CPAP, then the dog, and .....

If only I could find someone to help me interpret my "leak" data. DME Respiratory tech gave me 1 interpretation and MD gave me another; who to believe? Anyone can help?

J.

Leaks are easy...what needs to be cleared up?
Might be less confusing if you start a new thread with your questions as this thread is really an old thread and not many forum veterans even bother with it.

I really sleep deep with my ASV, couldn't see myself slipping.
Use it everynight or if I feel like having a peaceful nap.

Hello again my friends, old and new ...no..I am not dead, just been lurking in shadows and offline in between ... lolol.. Compliant? Yes, it has been almost seven years now since I started cpap, and have been 100% compliant the whole time. Even when I have been in the hospital, they had me on VPAP machine..now it is almost like an addiction, I absolutely can not go to sleep without my air and mask...

I'm 100 percent at night. But I've fallen asleep on the couch a few times, so I didn't qualify for the 100 percent. In July, it will be two years, and I feel so much better than I did before; my health has improved in every way. I think I am one of the lucky ones. While I was waiting for my Cpap, I read on here, got lots of tips, and started out pretty much 100 percent compliant. I few mornings I woke up with the mask off, but not many. And after about 10 days I woke up rested, really rested, for the first time in years. It made a believer of me.

Wouldn't take even a nap without it. (Not that I could actually get to sleep without it.) Keep a spare machine and mask in the car for the occasional noon nap.

I use it 100% of the time when I'm in bed but I often fall asleep in my recliner. My RT said that if I'm sitting up I don't need to use the CPAP.

I am also 100% compliant when in bed. As soon as I hose up, I am out! Lol! My husband says within 30 seconds I am asleep haha! I nap in the recliner without it sometimes as I have 4 cats and a puppy. Don't want anyone chewing on the hose while I am napping.

One of the reason's I'm 100% compliant is that I'm afraid that if I skip even one night, I won't use it again. It's easier to say no than it is to say never again.

Raeden got her machine on June 13th. She's used it 257 days and only 8 days without it. She's very very compliant. There's just been a few nights she's not been able to use it for some reason or another
