I used the Spice Saturday night and am not sure what was going on, but I was waking up about every 2 hours. Drat.
Last night (Sunday), I tried the Peace and wowzers! I went out into the desert yesterday for about 4 hours "treasure hunting" (metal detecting and looking around at some ancient Native American sites) and got way overheated. Spent the rest of the day relaxing and taking it easy. I got to bed about 10PM and used the Peace. I drifted off to sleep in about 10 minutes and then I slept the entire night, which for me is unusual. I usually get up for one bathroom break and wake a couple of more times when I roll over. I woke up at 5:30 AM and feel refreshed and extra alert this mornint.
OK, for the last week, I haven't wanted to credit the PurSleep system with helping. Today, I'm gonna admit it. I sleep better using the PurSleep system! I'm hooked! Excellent product, Sleep Guy! Thanks tons!

P.S.
Sweetie tried out the Spice a night or 2 ago and LOVES it! And she isn't on CPAP. I just pinned the diffusor pad on her pillow, dabbed a drop or 2 on it and that was it. She sleeps on her side, so it was pretty close to her nose. She loved the odor and it seemed to help her sleep, also.

I recieved mine on Friday. Thank you sleep guy. No problems with leaks or anything. The only complication is my wife is pregnant and when she is pregnant she has a super sensitive nose. She liked the scents but then stated she was not sure if she could sleep with the smells in the room. She did not like the one that smelled best to me and vice versa (can not remember which ones right now). I will try it out this weekend when she is out of town and report back.

Complications . . . of pregnancy: The Bionic Nose! I have a 6 month old daughter and lived through that very thing myself. I was forbidden to use 2 of the 9 oils. Fortunately, my wife liked the rest.

I'm one of the old-school users who still has the original diffuser.... and I'm kind of hesitant to give it up because I'm afraid the effect won't be as strong. Seems to me setting the new diffuser at the back of the machine will lose some of its effectiveness.... can anybody using the new vs. the old comment on this?
And SleepGuy... how do I put in for the diffuser exchange that I saw on here before?
Thanks....

Hey, Sleep Guy, I got to thinking a few days ago, maybe you needed to develop a scent that made us think we were tons stronger, think we were irresistible to the opposite sex, lower our inhibitions and increase our libido.
Then I remember, that's why we have alcohol! Nebbermind! LOLOL
Again, thanks for a great product.

ok....I started mixing recipes last night. lol I did a clear/peace combo. It worked out pretty well. I think I will stick with one or the other though from now on. Wasnt bad....I just liked them both seperatly.
I slept all night, no problems. I did go to bed to late, but that was my bad. Tonight I hope to get to bed at a reasonable hour.

The issue I have is that my xPAP is sitting on top of a UPS, not a table. The xPAP is wider than the UPS, so there is no obvious place to set the ceramic thingie. I'm not very mechanically minded, but I envision having to make some sort of small shelf that might either lodge between the xPAP and the UPS, or be velcroed to the xPAP.
Any of you handyperson types got any ideas? I'd love to try the thing tonight, but seem to lack suitable materials.
If by UPS you mean Uninteruptable Power Supply it undoubtedly has a flat surface on which you rest the xPAP machine. If you can make a small table out of a piece of plywood or even a 1x12 strip of pine/fir that will sit on top of the UPS, you can make it a bit over the size of the xPAP and rest the diffuser on that.
I didn't get in the loop quickly enough so I don't get one as a sample, but from the web site, it doesn't appear that it will take much overhang to just set it under the intake.
With a small "L" bracket you can also connect some "legs" to the flat surface on either side of the UPS for stability......
Hope this helps some -- Good luck!!!
cheers

In my first 2 posts I mentioned using "Clear". After reading back over them, I realized I was posting the wrong scent. Sorry for the confusion! The first 2 nights, I used ~Peace~ and the second 2 nights I used ~Clear~. I liked them both! The system does seem to help me get to sleep faster and it's very simple to use. Kind of hooked on "Clear" right now but will try out the Spice soon.

I like both clear and peace scents equally. I might have been a little more relaxed when using the peace, however. I will try the spice tonight and report back. Over all I do like this product and recommend it. It's easy to use and seems to work!

SleepGuy,
Got mine today and can't wait to try it tonight. Package was in good shape, nothing torn or leaking and the little tray that holds the pad is really cute.
Thanks for the trial,
Gilda

Thanks for all of the feedback!
I would recommend using one little drop of Peace whenever you use Spice or Clear (you shouldn't smell it and the lavender will help you sleep better!).
Looking forward to more reactions.

I have to say this. I usually hate the smell of mint. I can smell someone chewing minty gum from easily 10 feet away and it makes me gag. I use arm and hammer toothpast because it is the least minty to me. But I LOVE clear. I dont know what it is. It is the first minty type smell I have been able to stand. I will try adding the drop of peace in with the clear tonight. I think the lavender did help me sleep really well the other night.
