Asked and answered below . Right-click and "Save Picture As" or "Print Picture".

I'll leave it up to you to pick out a cheap washcloth at Wal-Mart or your closet . I am half serious about a cheap one. A real thin one is better to steady the bottles.

All my attention to scents is somehow incongruent with my avatar and signature .

Sithlord, I think we are twins, separated at birth! I too marked the name on the pad! I'm so happy to meet another fellow compulsive! It is so much easier!

I haven't ordered the extra pads from PurSleep yet, I just made up some disposable ones myself from cosmetic pads and wrote the names of the oils on them.

So good to know I'm not alone in my organizational oddness.

Interesting concept -- one pad, one oil......

I just change the corner and add different scents to the one's I tried the night before -- I haven't found a combination that I don't like yet, but then, I've been called weird.....

I only use one or two drops, so by morning most of the scent is gone, but it still covers that wonderful plastic smell that we all know comes naturally with CPAP....

Hmmmmm.....one pad, one oil.....I'll have to think on that one!!!

Great stuff sleep guy!!!! Lovin' it!!!
cheers

Follow up
I've been using the trial version of pur-sleep for a few weeks now. I have been sleeping really hard. I wake up refreshed. I've noticed that I'm not tossing and turning much in my sleep, which means I'm waking up less to adjust the mask. I have to be honest. I did not try the spice one yet. I will. Promise. I just really like the peace mixed w/ the clear.
This product has really made a difference in the quality of sleep that I am getting.

gasp wrote:Thanks! Would you please let me know the link to where I can buy the deluxe kit? All I can find on cpap.com is the travel bag.
cpap.com only sells a subset of what's available directly from Pur-Sleep at http://www.pur-sleep.com.

Since you already have a diffuser, you don't need to buy a whole new kit. Just order the individual bottles of oils that you want to try from URL above. Select Products at top, then Essential Oils. You might want to buy extra pads if you do ($5 for 4).

But for new users who want to try all scents, the Deluxe Starter Pack ($60) which includes all flavors is a better deal than buying a Basic Pack ($30) and the other six oils/pads separately ($55). For the math challenged, that's a $25 discount .

Save picture - check
Print picture - check
Cheap washcloth - check (substituted piece of raw silk which is thin and much nicer looking)

Only a powerful SithLord can wield a lightsaber and appreciate the smell of pure essential oils.

As part of my chromosome makeup and no significant other, I don't have much use for the Rose oil . Besides, 8 bottles is Monk-ish even. lol.

Not to say though I wouldn't put it in rotation if I ever have the former again .
I intend to give away my Rosa when I receive it - the smell of Rose just doesn't do it for me. Hope this doesn't say something about my chromosome makeup : 0

PS The Monk would have lined all the bottles up using a ruler : )

From your avatar, I would guess that too .

Who says I didn't? Maybe I intentionally mis-aligned them slightly before taking the picture? Only my good-side twin SleepingBeauty knows for sure.

I have been using pur-sleep for a few nights now. I have always woken up several times during the night. Using the scents I don't wake up as often, and I am able to go back to sleep within minutes. Before trying it, I would sometimes lay awake for an hour or two. I find the scents to be relaxing, and would recommend them to anyone on that basis alone. Thanks again SleepGuy for allowing me the opportunity to try this.

Easy open and smells nice. I am going to try the spice tonight or maybe
the peace. Cant seem to make up my mind yet.
I like the holder it is very nice looking and matches my room
A big plus.
I agree there should be 3 pads instead of 2 but them being washable helps.
Does anyone wash them out each am or just leave them with the scents after use?
I also think the zip lock bags would be a plus. As for the bottles maybe some set up like an eye dropper would be better. I have not noticed any leaks yet so that is good.
Thanks SleepGuy. Will post tomorrow after work on how it went.
At first I washed the pad daily. I can't get all the scent out, which seems appropriate to me. The remaining scent is a strange earthy smell, but does not interfere with the next night's oil application smelling like the essential oil applied. Now that I have my favorite mix of 3 drops Peace and 1 drop Clear, I wash the pad about every three days or so. I wash it with Dr. Bronner's castile lavendar scented soap directly applied do the pad, gently working it in, then rinsing with warm water. I really like the heartiness of the pad material. Looks like they'll last.

Pur-sleep has helped!!

I have given pur sleep about two weeks test before I commented. When I look at my charts I have noticed a drop of AHI from 3.1 AHI to an average of 1.2 AHI and the only thing that has changed is the use of pur-sleep. It seems I get to sleep faster and don't wake up as often. Thank you sleepguy, you have got winner.

I posted on another post that my machine died and I ended up borrowing one from my neighbor until I get a backup. I think her machine is about 8 to 10 years old (and huge!). I know she got a replacement two years ago, so this one was quite the workhorse for a long time.

I put my hose on and turned it on. Oh my gosh, was it ever stinky! I had already wiped down the whole outside of the unit because it was pretty dirty. I thought I would wash the filter, but when I opened it, it was a strange piece of long yellow fluff. I was afraid to put it in water because it looked as if it would fall apart. I just left it out and placed my pursleep with about 8 drops to mask the smell of that old machine. It worked! I may need to reorder EOs to get me through until my machine returns.

Thank God for pursleep. I don't know if I could have slept with that smell. It was worse than a stuffy old cheap motel room air conditioner.

Funny thing--someone just contacted me today to say that he travels quite a bit and for the first time was actually able to sleep on the road and without his cpap coming home smelling exactly like that cheap motel room air conditioner for the next several days after returning home.

Glad to hear it helped out!

Jeff, thanks for putting this together. I am about to have a brand new full color brochure with a similar layout that I will include with future orders--thanks in large part to feedback from the forum. I'd be happy to send anyone a brochure if you PM me a mailing address.
