Oh, Dear God!
I am also looking for new more capable CPAP machine. And the more I am reading the more my head is spinning. The most frustrated part for me – that there is no reliable SA specialist in my county. The guy who (supposedly) must give you right directions.

Hi Guest- thanks for replying- Yeah- it is a bit early for the Respironics machines SV, and I'd sure hate to trade what is kind of working for somethign that might not work at all, but I suppose I could always go back to S/T if needed- but agasin, I doubt I'll be getting the ASV anytime soon- sure owuld like a machine that hjas patient Data onscreen though- I haven't got a clue about whether or not my machien is helpiung, or by how much- You'd think that an S/T machien that cost $3000+ would have that info readily available whereas the lower priced machiens all mostly seem to have it. I do like the simplicity of the S/T machine htough- but that's about it.
