IMHO: As a mother of two children I frequently hear two sides of a issue. I can listen and find valid points of both arguments. BUT, at some point, you just have to say "enough, I don't want to hear it anymore - go to bed - both of you" and in this case . . I hope everyone sleeps all night with zero apneas and do not have to get up for a drink or make a bathroom stop!

Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree.

(New name - another thread!

p.s. Spent 22 years at a job with two very mean and nasty people who would go out of their way to be extremely ugly to everyone. They were not fired for their behavior although everyone including the boss, found it repulsive and scary. I found that if you didn't engage in the fight or let it bother you, life was ok. One thing that worked was having everyone tell the bully that "I'm sorry you feel that way" everytime he "complained" or acted like an A**. It got to be so funny and he would dang near explode when he heard the phrase (I finally quit . . . partly to take care of the kids and partly because of this problem)

If this is where you're going, there's really no need for me to "debate" this with you any further.

LOL, Terri !

Reminds me of the scene in one of my favorite movies, "Dangerous Liasons" (Glenn Close, John Malkovich, and Michelle Pfeiffer were sooo good in that) when John Malkovich's character began repeating, "It's beyond my control."

Don't that make it sound like I work for the IMF?

Well, at least you're getting warmer. No posts were ever actually "deleted", they were "Sent to ForumAdmin for Review".

My only regret is that I have but one hall pass to give for my country.

Wooo Weeee
This here thread is more funner than sitting around the bug zapper with a six packa Bud on a Saturday night!!

It's got everything from chocolate pudding wrestling, Paris Hilton, Universal Energy and even big girl panties

How about everyone just flame me instead? I'm the DME RT!!! I'm the Devil (maybe then, everyone else would catch a break?)

OK....how about....TOP 5 WAYS TO TELL YOUR A TRUE HOSEHEAD???

5. You play a recording of the Imperial March from Star Wars every night before you hook up.

4 At your wedding, the usher asks, "Resmed or Respironics?" instead of "bride or groom?"

3. You think Ramp is for sissies.

2. Friends and family know never to discuss the Big 3 with you.....Religion, Politics and Auto vs. CPAP.

and the #1 way to tell your a TRUE HOSEHEAD.....(drum roll)

1. You take control of YOUR therapy by researching, educating and otherwise not leaving it up to the DME's, the RT's, and the docs to be the sole directors of your care. (We all know how THAT turns out)

Just trying to inject a little humor

And know a Public Service Announcement from BrianRT regarding this thread...

"Being Offended Is A Risk We Take From Living In A Free Society"

My name is BrianRT, and I approved this message.

Thanks all!!

RT Out!

Something I think I'll post at my desk!

Thanks for the humor--we need it!

Hey Brian, are you licensed to practice over the internet? I'm looking to hire an RT to service my cpap needs. I can't seem to find one here in my hometown with the intelligence god gave a goat, and having to drive to Seattle to get my needs met is annoying to me.

I like you. Can I hire you?

Cheers,
