I'm a Newbie

Post by BubbaHill » Thu Oct 28, 2004 7:40 pm

Hello. This week, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. My wife has been telling me I've had a problem for quite some time. I have an appointment next week at the sleep center to see if the cpap is appropriate treatment. I'm not really sure what to expect, so I guess I'll be hanging out, reading and asking a few questions for a while. Any input would be greatly appreciated. This is all rather new to me. Thanks.

Howdy,

If you're wondering about this, we've got some great information on it:

HI BubbaHill
I was very sceptic of being diagnosed with OSA and was very aprehensive about the study. Look around and ask questions here. The more knowledge you have before you have your sleep study the better you will understand it. You will be much better prepaired to talk with the tech and your doctor about the options you have.
