Someone mentioned this in an above post, but it bears repeating. I am also only about six weeks in. I don't give myself time to sleep! I am so used to not sleeping, that I don't go to bed until late and then I wake up early . . . not because I want to, but because I have been avoiding sleep for quite a while because it was so frustrating!

hmm, look at the time . . . maybe I should follow my own observation and get my OSA butt to bed!!!

Tired Mommy,

Another Tired Mommy here too. I've only been at it about 4 weeks though. I had to start Provigil treatment prior to even getting my equipment in order to stay awake at work or lose my job. I even started the complaint process with the Equal Opportunity people but haven't written the complaint yet.

I'm still taking Provigil but only on the days I work. Last week I tried to go without but after the 2nd day I couldn't stay awake so had to take it. The stuff is darned expensive (about $300 at Walgreens) but at least my medical deductible is paid for through August 21st - it just takes about a month to get reimbursed.

Like many have said there can be other contributing factors to your excessive daytime sleepiness. I also have Restless Leg Syndrome and Periodic Limb Movement Disorder which keep me from getting the Delta (stages 3 and 4) sleep I need to feel truly rested. I'm on meds for that as well. Like you I'm so tired of being tired!

I'm looking into a different mask as well. I have the full face mask (FF431) but have thought of trying something else. I really want the Mirage Quattro or Mirage Liberty (hybrid) but they're not available yet.

Going with a list of questions is a great idea. Let us know what happens after your visit!
