I've been using the Ivory soap under the sheet at the foot of my bed for a few weeks now.
I was having major cramps due to a medication I was taking, so I thought. In the daytime, I got a cramp in my side every time I turned to grab my seatbelt in the car, whenever I turned to look out the back window when backing the car, at night sitting on my recliner and in bed. I got off it and the same night started the Ivory soap (btw, unwrap the bar first! LOL).
I still have a night or two where I wake from a cramp, but it's nothing like it was. I figure getting off the medication was one part of helping, but I really think the soap helps, too.
Also, I read where taking a tsp of juice from a bottle of dill pickles will stop a cramp in its tracks. I tried that and it worked fair. I also read that if you take a tsp of mustard, that stops cramps. The mustard really works for me. No, I have no idea why/how they work, but for me, it's been a sleep saver.
Good luck!

P.S.
Don't EVEN get me started on the benefits of apple cider vinegar! LOLOL
