Don't know why it didn't go very well, that's the best looking chart you've posted yet.
That’s interesting! The problem was the leaking!
I really should have bought the Nasal mask instead of this F30i. I’ll stick with it until after my Sleep Study on the 28th.
Should I have EPR ON or OFF?
Thanks!

Your FLs were great with EPR 3.
I don't understand why you want to change settings. The machine prevented breathing events on your latest posted night.

I don’t understand how to read these charts
Look at the charts and ask questions.

Apologies CG, I’ve only just seen this.
My problem is actually getting to sleep. That’s my biggest problem even before wearing a Mask & whistling noise…. I’ve had this APAP machine since 2019 & was resigned to the fact I just can’t tolerate it. I hadn’t used it at all for 3 or 4 years until 2 weeks ago.
So I’m looking for settings that I can tolerate & get some sleep.
Also, the mention of “Central Apneas” is a great concern, now I’ve read about them
So I saw this video on EPR & more specifically ResMed EPR…
https://youtu.be/GaXA0ZIWj1Y?si=OkSHcBYoSHaHE1iN
So I tried it last night with EPR Off. To me it felt much better. It felt more stable. I didn’t have any difficulty breathing out. Just seemed less noticeable & I actually think I got some sleep!!!
Min=10, Max=20, EPR=Off

Quit it.

There is no indication you have central apnea, and there is evidence you don't.

It does take time for the mind to adjust to a strange system like CPAP.
Sorry, I don't watch videos by Nick. It's best to look for ones by ResMed.

Thanks very much again CG!
I apologise for being an absolute numbskull. I’m apparently dyslexic or irlands or something I’m too lazy to read up on it. Laziness & being knackered all the time due to no sleep.
I’m not even saying I have sleep apnea. Could be something else. All I know is I really struggle to get to sleep & when I do, I’m told I snore like a jumbo jet! I’m told I do when I don’t think I slept! As I’ve said, my tonsils & uvula are gone. My nostrils could be wider & sometimes get congested. It might be a mental issue or some imbalance?
So I’m trying to see if this CPAP helps & looking forward to my Sleep Study. I just want to find quality sleep.
Thanks!

Sorry to be dumb. Does that mean the CPAP is doing its job or there were no issues to fix?
Is there a way to accurately measure Sleep? I mean myself. Are those Whooshes or rings?
Would they show accurate reports of breathing events?
Thanks

"Jet snoring" that you mentioned is of concern. It's a part of the sleep-disordered breathing spectrum along with obstructive sleep apnea.
Have some patience. Let's see what your sleep study says.
In the meantime, browse "good sleep hygiene".

Thanks again CG
Well after a bit of trial & error, I feel I at least got some sleep last night. Not fantastic, but not terrible. Maybe I’m getting used to the mask.
I’ve realised that I have to wear Earplugs. Maybe it’s just the constant airflow from the front of the F30i..
Settings now Min=12, Max=20 & EPR=ON

AHI is up, but could that be because I actually got some sleep?
On other nights when my AHI was lower, I’m sure I was awake all night.
Thanks
