Ever heard of OHS = Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome? Could be the machine you're trying to get acquainted with isn't good for the job of making sure your oxygen is high enough and stable all nigtht through.

Definitely discuss your low oxygen with the doctor who prescribed the machine, and if he/she doesn't trust your oximeter, ask for a nightly oximetry recording with a professional oximeter.

Good idea. I'll read about obesity hypoventilation syndrome again. If I remember right, it doesn't fit me as a diagnosis: I can breathe well enough to burn as many calories-per-hour as anyone else at the gym, and OHS sounded completely incompatible with that. But it might provide some insight.
