Mask makes a clicking sound when I exhale.

My mask frequently makes a single click each time I exhale. It isn't the flaps inside the elbow connector between the hose and mask. Sometimes it will stop when if I adjust the mask in my face, but it will usually return. The sound is driving me nuts. Makes me want to smash this mask.
