Looks like the Ketamine was given about 3 minutes prior to the dosing of the propofol
18:14 vs 18:17

I have no idea if either one of those med (or both of those meds) is the culprit in the big change you have seen
Neither do I. They also hooked me up to oxygen after the procedure, but we weren’t able to give that much of a chance because I needed to leave the ER before the snowstorm came. Thanks.

... he said that they need a very specific kind of sleep test...
You should have politely responded:

"Yeah my **** is special too. Gimme the MF HST."
How does one say that politely?

And I’ll be using insurance I reached my deductible already during my visit to the hospital.

Will you be using Medicare to cover this?

Get a recording oximeter. It will tell you everything you need to know.
The recording oximeter sounds like a really good idea. Anyone in particular?

I wish I were pushier. Maybe I’ll sign up my daughter-in-law to be my advocate.
Reading this I had to chime in, "pushy" is not how I would describe it. IMO "Assertive" is the word for it. Asserting your valid concern and need for some further investigation of the problem. "pushy" has a negative connotation and often means someone being unreasonable in some way, perhaps to get something they are not entitled to or demanding more than others in similar position.

Relieve yourself of the negative "pushy" label and the baggage that comes with it. Sometimes you need to stand up for yourself, particularly as the nickel-and-dime economy grows around us.

Can you recommend an alternative?

Thanks again for your feedback. It really helps to know that I’m not alone in this.

I wish I were pushier. Maybe I’ll sign up my daughter-in-law to be my advocate.

By the way, how do you respond so quickly to these posts? Do you get some kind of notification?
No, I just happened to have the tab open for a couple of days when you posted so am checking the thread. I've actually been absent from the forum for a while.

Won't get sent to Switzerland either....

Oh. Stupid me - I suddenly remembered that some things don't get sent by the big A because of companies' agreements with local distributors. Looks like I'll have to do some searching for brick and mortar sources - almost forgot they exist.

Hi. A sincere thank you to everybody who has helped me in this form. You give me the information and the little push that I needed. I used my new oximeter last night and sent the following note to my doctor.

Good morning, Dr. Powner. Yesterday I got an oximeter so that I could get a better look at what’s happening while I sleep. It didn’t look good. Actually, it looked even worse than I expected. according to the manual, I need to pay attention to a couple of numbers:
ODI 4% should not exceed 10, but mine was 236.
Average SP02 should not go below 94, but mine was 89.
My sleep study is on May 16 and I don’t think we can wait that long.
Please help me out.
Thank you.

Yes. He already has. He’s ordered me an oximeter, the one that they require. Then he said that he could get me an oxygen tank until we were able to do the sleep study just knowing this makes me feel better. Thanks again.

You might not feel that much better if you knew that
...nocturnal oxygen has been shown to prolong apnea duration in patients with OSA, perhaps as a result of the suppression of the hypoxic respiratory drive. In an observational study, the rise in blood pressure following each apneic episode was primarily linked to apnea duration and was not linked to hypoxemia. Prolonged apnea duration may also in crease the severity of hypercarbia and acidosis in patients with OSA. This potential risk mandates careful monitoring for arrhythmias and other consequences of hypercarbia, especially in those with comorbid lung disease.
