Has anyone noticed a difference using a filter in the tubing?

I don't put a filter in the tube/hose.

Are you talking about one of those anti bacterial filters?
Is that what you are asking about?

I tried a bacteria filter for a night and set the machine for its presence. I think the pressure increased a bit more than needed to compensate for the resistance of the filter. With humidity on the filter caused moisture to gather on it so I removed it. I don't usually use humidity and was testing it as well as the filter.

For my gear, the filter has to be installed between the F40 short tube and the 6ft tube which makes the filter awkward due to the 3" width of its hard plastic housing. Other CPAP models allow it to be installed at the opposite end of the main hose nearest the machine. I've read others having the same problem with moisture forming on a bacteria filter.
